Chapter 46: Broad Daylight

 Immediately Jason walked out of the office, he picked his phone and dialed Tyler's number. His thoughts were running fast in his head. He needed to be ten steps ahead as always and currently he felt that he did not have anything concrete to use as an advantage against any opposition that would come his way. Tyler's phone rang about three times before he picked up.

"Took you long enough" Jason said as soon as he picked up

"Sorry about that, I was doing something over here. So, what do you have for me?" Tyler asked

"Actually, it's not what I have for you but rather something that you are going to do for me" Jason replied

"I already don't like the sound of that" Tyler said

"When have you ever liked anything that I have in mind?" Jason asked

"Point taken. So what do you need me to do?" Tyler asked

"First of all, I even forgot to give you a congrats for the thing that you did with the files" Jason said

"Oh that, that was nothing. So what do you want me to do with those files?" Tyler asked

"Hang on to them for now, we'll need them in future" Jason said

"No problem. By the way, what did you think about the switcheroo that I did back there?" Tyler asked

"That was an epic one. I wish you were there to see the look on their faces when they saw it" Jason said

"I can only imagine, it wasn't easy though to do that fast but I know you came up with a good excuse to stall them" Tyler said

"You can only imagine, it's easy distracting one person but four people at the same time.... You need skill" Jason said

"By the way, what did you do?" Tyler asked

"The old classic one, raise suspicion in a group with people having trust issues and just watch as they slowly do your work for you"Jason said

"Now that's what I call fast thinking, I hope you didn't create more tension amongst them making the situation even worse than it already is?" Tyler asked

"No I didn't. The secret is, raise suspicion and watch them build it up from the ground till it gets to where you want it to be then kill it from the root calming the situation. Everyone will forget that you started it, rather they will see you as the one person who calmed the storm making them trust you even more" Jason said

"Remind me never to be on your receiving end of your bad side because you always surprise me every single time" Tyler said

"Don't worry, I only use such knowledge when necessary." Jason assured him

"Anyways, besides that I wanted to tell you that I got myself a getaway driver" Tyler said

"Getaway driver? Why do you have to make it sound like it's a bank robbery?" Jason asked

"You forget that I'm supposed to be breaking someone out of jail, who we barely know if he has any beneficial assistance to us. So if I want to call my driver a gateway driver, let me call him that in peace, will you" Tyler asked

"As you wish Mr jail robber" Jason said sarcastically

"Are you being sarcastic right now? I'm dead serious Jason. For all that I know it's that you're possibly sending me to either my death or my arrest." Tyler said

"Come on Tyler, don't you have some faith?" Jason asked in his usual composed tone

"Faith! Faith? If you want me to have some faith in getting caught yes, but if you want me to have some faith in getting shot, I'll take a pass on that" Tyler said

"Tyler when will you learn that I always have a plan?" Jason asked

"What if that plan fails, do you have a plan B?" Tyler asked Jason without answered his question

"Having a plan B is only for people who know that their plan will fail" Jason said

"So you're telling me that we don't even have a backup plan? This just keeps getting better every day. What's next, we're not going to use a car, we'll use a tricycle?" Tyler asked sarcastically

"Funny, though would be interesting to see. Imagine the headlines: Prison break happens in Sin City. The police are in a fast police chase with the culprits who are on a tricycle" Jason replied

"Not funny Jason, seriously not funny." Tyler said

"Listen to what I have planned will you" Jason said

"Enlighten me your senior most lord of darkness" Tyler said in a mocking tone

"When you're done from your little tantrum joyride let me know so that I can tell you the actual plan" Jason said

"Ok, I'm listening" Tyler said

"I remember telling you that we're doing the jailbreak next week" Jason started

"Correction, I'm the one breaking him out while you will be doing God knows what " Tyler interjected

"Fine fine, I'll be pretty preoccupied with something on that particular day" Jason said

"What do you mean?" Tyler asked

"I mean that day I'll be watching over the court hearing" Jason said

"Watching over the cour---- oh my God Jason, we're doing it on Friday? The same Friday as Daymond's court hearing?" Tyler asked

"Yes, that is why I'll need you all hands on deck for it" Jason said

"Are you out of your freaking mind, you want me to single handedly break out Hunters out of prison? You are really keen on going extreme with these plans nowadays" Tyler said more shocked than before.

"You won't be alone, you just told me that you have a getaway driver" Jason replied

"Jason, this is not the time for making jokes " Tyler said seriously

"Ok. Just listen to be first before you start telling me how many ways this could go wrong" Jason said

"I'm listening" Tyler told him

"What will everyone across Panem and worldwide be watching on Friday?" Jason asked

"Daymond's court hearing" Tyler answered

"That means every eye will be in that courtroom from two when it starts, everyone else will have their guard down" Jason said

"And how will that help us?" Tyler asked

"I bet you didn't know that Hunters also has his hand hearing on that day" Jason said

"No kidding" Tyler replied

"That's what will be going down, he'll be brought in for his court session around twelve, considering the influence of the mayor and the need to clear anything for the big case, it will probably take them about thirty minutes to finish up with him and sentence him. So by somewhere around one he should be done and he should be in his way back to serve his sentence. The ride back will take around two hours due to traffic which gives you around one hour thirty minutes from the court to make sure that he doesn't get to his destination since---" Jason said

"Since every police officer will have their eyes on the prize while the unlucky few will be guarding just a drug dealer" Tyler finished the statement.

"Now you're following. So what do you think?" Jason asked

"I still don't like it" Tyler said

"Because it's on that Friday?" Jason asked

"No that one I actually agree with. But I don't like it because it still involves attacking a transportation car which will obviously be guarded in broad daylight" Tyler answered

"Well you have to let that thought linger around in your head since that is the only chance we get Mr Dracula" Jason said

"What if I get caught?" Tyler asked.

"You won't" Jason answered

"Why do you sound so sure?" Tyler asked

"That's because I am. Give me till Friday Tyler,I'll have a plan" Jason told him

"You better have over Jason, because this, this is absolutely crazy. And there are only two ways it might end" Tyler said

"In death or success" Jason finished off the statement
