Chapter 55: Athena is Challenged

 "We're here sir" the taxi driver told Jason

"Let the show begin" Jason said as he turned to Athena

"Where are we exactly?" Athena asked as they got out

"We're at the Grand opening of one of the biggest cinema halls in Panem" Jason said as he went around the car after paying the taxi driver

"Did you die at one point and reincarnate into this fine young man?" Athena asked as they started walking side by side

"Why's that?" Jason asked her

"Well, isn't it so obvious. You learnt all the things that a woman desires in your previous life and when you reincarnated, you saw the perfect opportunity to pull all the right strings" Athena answered him

"I only wish. Let's just call it pure luck" Jason said as they came upon the gates of the hall which was packed by tons of people who awaited the first movie to be showcased in a state of the art modern cinema hall that could host up to a thousand people in one sitting

"Looks like we are pretty early" Athena told him after she looked at the crowd waiting outside while the gates were still closed

"I was hoping for that" Jason said as he dug into one of his pockets, "that's why I bought these" he said as he pulled out tickets

"Tickets, well these hopefully should help us go through this long que that is from the gates to the edge of the earth" she said with a fake smile as she looked at the tickets

"Check the back" Jason told her as he flipped the tickets which were still in her hands

"Vvip, this just got interesting" she said as she looked keenly at the details

"This means one, we don't have to wait outside so that we find a good seat. Consider then as backstage passes at a concert" Jason told her as they headed straight for the gates. When they got there all Jason had to do was flash the tickets and they were allowed to walk into the building without queing outside

"I'm impressed, so what other benefits do we enjoy as long as we hold those tickets?" Athena asked as they walked through the halls which were packed by the staff trying to make sure everything was on point for the grand opening. They walked up to a man wearing a full suit and had an earpieces in his ear as he was giving instructions to someone else on the receiving end. Jason gave him a gentle tap on the shoulder which made him turn around.

"Oh hello there,you must be one of the vvip guests. It's nice to meet you," the guy said as he shook hands with Jason and then Athena. " You must be West and this beautiful lady must be Athena" he said

"You are correct" Jason said as he looked around, "so, how long till you open the gates?" He asked

"In about twenty minutes or less since all is going great and according to plan. So if you don't mind,I'd ask the both of you to take a seat so that you are settled by the time the other group storms in here" the guy said as he started to walk the pair towards the main cinema hall

"If you don't mind, mind telling Athena here what those cards give us privileges to" Jason told the guy

"Sure, no problem. So these tickets are vvip which means you are some of our most esteemed clients for the night costing nearly five times the average ticket. I'm sure you have already experienced the first perk of having these at the gate which is you don't have to line up. Just a simple wave of the tickets and viola, you're through. Another perk of having it is that you get the best seats in the house. During each show,we only allow fifteen people to buy these tickets since they get the best treatment in the whole hall. In the hall there's a vantage point built specifically for this group since it offers the best place to watch the movie from. Being at the back of the room the guests won't have to strain their necks trying to look up at the big screen. Despite the hall having some comfortable chairs where you can lay your neck back to rest,the vvip area has comfy couches that make you feel like you are in your own living room watching one of the biggest screens in the whole of Panem. With enough space for around twenty people, so you can be ascertained that the room can accommodate fifteen without much of a stretch. Also inside the room is the glass window that gives you view of the whole hall and the mega screen at the far end. From there you so enjoy one of the few uncrowded eating sections were you can get snacks from the likes of popcorn to potato crips to drinks like soda. Also above there is three private restrooms which give you a place to go and do your business without being in a hurry since you won't have long lines queing up outside the doors just to use the restroom. So take it from me when I say that you are in one of the best places where you can sit down and watch movies in HD that you have never experienced before" the guy said before opening the door to the room for the special guests of honor

"I can feel the fresh air hit my face from the moment where I stepped into this room" Athena told Jason

"I know right,in here you are certain that the rest of the world is set aside and you are given treatment like Kings despite being in the same building." Jason told her, " that's why I ensured that I secure our two tickets the moment the sale began"

"Well all I can say is thank you and you just earned yourself more points" Athena said with a smile

"Well I wont miss the chance of taking any credit for myself this time around. I can say that I might have outdone myself and I do deserve a pat on the back from myself" Jason said

"By the way, I just remembered something" Athena said as she looked at Jason

"What's that?" He asked

"You mentioned a test when we got here, but you didn't mention what kind of test it was going to be" she answered

"Have some little patience,its about to begin" Jason said with still the same smile as before
