 As soon as Marla left the office Athena turned her attention to Jason who was busy looking onto the files on his desk again. "Hey you" she said. Jason raised his head and their eyes met for a brief second before he looked back at the documents and cleared his throat to respond. "Hey," he responded "What's up with you of late?" She asked  "What do you mean?" He asked equally puzzled but his attention was still focused on the papers "Well,for one...since the incident on Saturday morning you seem more interested in this case as compared to Friday" she responded "Oh that. It took me a while to notice that the case that we are handling is not just any simple one. There's a lot at stake here" he responded "What do you mean when you say that a lot is at stake?" She asked "Uuhhhmmmm...I mean that," he started saying before his voiced trailed off and suddenly seemed to be thinking about something else ...

 On the other side of Sin City the mayor arrived at his office with his private chopper. As soon as he landed,he went straight to the office where he was welcomed by his secretary. "Good morning Mr Gallows,you have an unexpected guest in your office waiting for you" she told him "And you let that person in without my permission?" He asked her "There was nothing I could do. He also said that you will be pleased by his arrival" she added on The Mayor walked into his office wondering who could possibly be his guest yet he had no arranged meeting with anyone for the rest of the day. As he walked into the office he was welcomed by the smell of a lit cigar and immediately he knew who was waiting for him. Seated on his chair was a well groomed man who was in a suit and glasses,crossed feet and had a cigar on his fingers as he puffed out a cloud of smoke. Immediately Jeff left Athena walked into the office looking completely stunned. "What the hell was that?" She asked a little bit surprised at how the interview had turned out.  Suddenly the security detail went into action trying to determine where the shot came from. What they didn't know was that this was just the beginning, all hell was about to break loose. Two of the cars drove to the front to try and shield the car ferrying the accused. After a few seconds of another nerve cracking silence more gunshots were heard, this time not just one but a lot and by a lot I mean it. Nearly twenty rounds were heard non-stop tearing the two sacrificial cars apart. Each bullet the size of a marker pen tore right through the exterior of the cars destroying everything in its path. Within seconds the cars looked like they just survived a hurricane. Luckily all the occupants had exited the car in search for cover. As the gunfire continued they whisked away Daymond for security purposes. The crowd on the other hand broke into a run as everyone ran for their lives.
